Terms and Conditions

By placing a reservation, you (Customer) use of Affordable Luxury Car Services either by phone, fax, e-mail, online on this site, or in any other manner, indicating your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and becoming a registered traveler of Affordable Luxury Car Services. You authorize the company to charge your credit card in full for all charges relating to your reservation.

Modification

If Affordable Luxury Car Services changes this agreement, we shall post a revised version of this agreement online and include it in all future reservation confirmations sent, which will automatically replace the terms of this agreement. Your continued use of the services after Affordable Luxury Car Services posts the revised agreement will constitute your acceptance of the revised agreement. If you do not agree with the terms of this agreement or any revised version, do not continue to use the services. Signed contracts will be grandfathered and not subject to new terms and conditions revisions. New contracts will be subject to the latest terms and conditions posted online on the Affordable Luxury Car Services website and sent with every reservation confirmation.

Compliance

Affordable Luxury Car Services will strictly enforce State and Federal Laws and maintain a zero-tolerance compliance policy that no alcoholic beverages can be consumed or used by any person not of legal (21) drinking age. No person shall bring contraband or illegal substances aboard vehicles owned or operated by Affordable Luxury Car Services. Person(s) under the age of 21 is/are prohibited from consuming any type of alcoholic beverages. The chauffeur has every right to search bags inside the vehicle for illegal substances at any time. If the chauffeur finds any illegal substance, we reserve the right to terminate the contract immediately, and it will be the client’s responsibility to make their own transportation arrangements. If contraband is found aboard, even in negligible quantities without the chauffeur’s knowledge, the vehicle may be seized and forfeited to local government agencies. All fines will be paid by the customer. Affordable Luxury Car Services will never leave minors stranded and the vehicle will wait onsite until all minors are picked up by their parent(s), legal guardian(s), or responsible adult. The full amount of the reservation will be billed, plus any applicable wait time charges. Absolutely no refunds will be issued.

Alcohol Consumption

Affordable Luxury Car Services prohibits the consumption of alcoholic beverages inside the company vehicles. This applies to all our fleet vehicles operated by Affordable Luxury Car Services. Passengers will be asked to consume their beverages prior to entering the vehicle.

Liability

Affordable Luxury Car Services will not be responsible for injuries that may occur due to horseplay while the vehicle is in motion or at a standstill. It is illegal to stand through the sunroof. Affordable Luxury Car Services will not be responsible for any belongings left in or out of the vehicle. If you forget something in a vehicle, please call our office immediately so that we can try to locate it for you. The client assumes full financial liability for any damage to the limousine caused during the rental period by them or any members of their party (broken glassware, damaged seat, carpet, mirror, burn hole, rip or tear to upholstery, spills, sickness-related interior-exterior damage, vandalism, etc.). This is not an exclusive list; any and all damages caused to the vehicle, including loss of revenue for downtime during repairs, can and will be charged to the credit card used to book the service. If there is not enough room on the credit card to satisfy damages, Affordable Luxury Car Services reserves the right to file in Fairfield County to recover losses. Clients agree that there will be no smoking in our vehicles. Client agrees that the passenger capacity of the vehicle provided shall not exceed the vehicle’s legal limit. Affordable Luxury Car Services reserves the right to terminate this or any other contract without refund for noncompliance with these requests, especially if renters do not follow chauffeur requests in order to obey the rules of this contract. Our chauffeur will not be mistreated or verbally or physically abused for any reason. We provide our clients with a polite, respectful, professional service and expect the same in return. In case of misconduct by you or your party, the chauffeur has the right to terminate service without refund. This is without exception. The chauffeur will assist with luggage at a client request but assumes no liability for doing so.

Guarantee

Affordable Luxury Car Services cannot guarantee the availability of overtime on hourly rentals. It is important that the purchaser makes allowances for anticipated delays and adheres to the agreed time schedule. If the purchaser wants to change the time of the itinerary, they may do so only if Affordable Luxury Car Services can accommodate other clients that booked with Affordable Luxury Car Services before or after the said time. If applicable, the purchaser further agrees to pay any additional charges incurred, such as overtime, tolls, parking, etc. The purchaser authorizes Affordable Luxury Car Services to charge any additional charges or fees to the purchaser’s credit card on file. Affordable Luxury Car Services guarantees that all our vehicles are constantly checked to maintain the highest possible standards. Since we offer high-tech-equipped vehicles, sometimes heat and excessive use of all power equipment might result in temporary failure. This will, of course, not interfere with the safety of the vehicle itself and therefore will not affect the continuation or payment of the contracted trip. Affordable Luxury Car Services agrees to send the requested vehicle as offered in the contract. We reserve the right to upgrade the vehicles or switch the vehicle in case of emergency breakdown or accidents. As stated, this will only happen in case of emergencies. If no upgrade is available, Affordable Luxury Car Services gives the customer the right to downsize the vehicle and receive additional discounts if desired. No additional charges will occur for the customer if an upgrade is made without the customer’s request. If switching occurs within the same category or upgrades are made, it will not affect the contract and/or payment of the contract. The customer therefore accepts that a replacement vehicle may be substituted if the contracted vehicle becomes unavailable for any reason. If any of our above guarantees or contracted terms cannot be met due to conditions outside of our control, including weather, accidents, storms, traffic congestion, road closures, flight delays, etc., we will use reasonable efforts to notify the customer of these conditions and resulting delays or changes.

Disputing / Terminated Rides
If a customer disputes a charge by Affordable Luxury Car Services with his/her credit card company, a $25 fee per disputed charge will be charged to the customer. If it is determined Affordable Luxury Car Services is at fault, the $25 fee will be dismissed. If it is determined that Affordable Luxury Car Services is correct and has provided both parties with proper documentation, the $25 fee per disputed charge will be enforced and charged to the customer’s credit card on file. By accepting services offered by Affordable Luxury Car Services, you forfeit your right to dispute the charges via your credit card company for rides terminated due to prohibited actions and behavior described in this contract.

Refund Policy
Any and all reimbursements due back to the client from deposits and/or for any other reason will be issued back to the credit card provided. It may take up to 3 business days.

Confirmation / Rates
A confirmation number is provided for every reservation and confirmation email message is generated by the computer system. We are not responsible for lost/not received confirmations when booking via internet. Clients may have spam blockers on and sometimes confirmations do not get through. It is the client’s responsibility to call and get a confirmation number. Affordable Luxury Car Services has standardized routes with flat-rate pricing for travel to and from most major cities and airports. Rates for travel between locations in which a point to point rate does not exist will be charged at the prevailing hourly rate plus gratuity and applicable fees. All trips billed on an hourly basis have a two (2) hour minimum and a four (4) hour minimum outside of Connecticut. Hourly trips are billable on a garage to garage basis. Rates are subject to change at any time.

Cancellation Policy / No Show Fees
Cancellations are accepted by phone only. If you are experiencing difficulty locating your chauffeur at any time, contact Affordable Luxury Car Services at (203) 340-9111 or Toll-Free (877) 546-6041 immediately. A dispatcher is on call 24 hours for assistance. Leaving the pickup location without notifying Affordable Luxury Car Services will result in a no-show charge. A cancellation fee equal to the total trip cost, including gratuity, will be charged for any cancellation made less than two (2) hours before the scheduled pickup time in Connecticut and four (4) hours outside of Connecticut. We are not responsible for passenger flights or trains that are missed, canceled, diverted, delayed, or any other incident which results in your failure to comply with the required cancellation policy. In this instance, we will use our best effort to fulfill client needs, subject to wait time fees or late cancellations and re-booking, without detriment to other reserved clients. If you are not able to contact Affordable Luxury Car Services for your cancellation, it will be considered a “no-show” and will result in a cancellation fee equal to the full fare of the trip plus all other charges (20% service fee, applicable waiting time, parking). All reservations will be considered a “no-show” at one (1) hour past your scheduled pickup time. Due to mechanical difficulties or bad weather, we will try to contact someone for authorization to wait. We will not abandon our clients at airports. We will wait until the flight arrives, unless we are told to dismiss the car. If the car is dismissed, you will be charged in full for the reservation plus any other additional charges incurred. For up-to-the-minute flight or one-hour shuttle flights, please call our office as soon as possible for any known changes in flight information or arrival times so we can adjust as necessary. All stretch limousine service cancellations must be made by calling the office. A fifty (50) percent deposit is taken at the time of reservation for all stretch limousine services. The deposit is refundable only if canceled thirty (30) days prior to the trip date. If cancellation is made less than fourteen (14) days prior to the reservation date for a stretch limo trip, a cancellation fee equal to one hundred (100) percent of the trip total will be incurred. No-show and cancellation on location will be charged accordingly. A cancellation number will be given at the time of cancellation and should be retained for your records.

Change Policy
Affordable Luxury Car Services requires that all changes be received by phone two (2) hours in Connecticut and four (4) hours outside Connecticut prior to the scheduled pickup time. If a change cannot be accommodated and results in a cancellation, the client will be charged fifty (50) percent of the fare, including the 20% service fee and applicable fees. Changes cannot be made with our chauffeur.

Wait Time Policy
All flight arrival times are updated in real time. Our information is only as reliable as the information provided by the airlines and airports. Airport transfer wait time will start sixty (60) minutes past the last posted flight arrival time. For all point-to-point reservations, there is a fifteen (15) minute grace period from the scheduled pickup time. Wait time charges will begin once that fifteen (15) minute grace period has passed or at a time, waiting time will be charged at the hourly rate of the vehicle that was reserved plus gratuity and any other additional charges incurred, including parking.

Accounting / Billing
Trips are charged to the customer’s credit card or corporate charge account. All reservations require a credit card on file. Vehicles booked by the hour require a deposit. Affordable Luxury Car Services accepts cash and all other major credit cards (American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover). All charges, including gratuity, are billed to your credit card or charge account. For credit cards, payment is pre-authorized forty-eight (48) to seventy-two (72) hours prior to the trip date. Full payment will be taken after the trip completion. Charges will reflect costs incurred while performing transportation services for reservations placed by Affordable Luxury Car Services, by the customer, its agents, and any individuals requesting transportation as an authorized employee of the customer. This will reflect costs including, but not limited to, trip charges, tolls, parking, gratuity, additional stops, additional time, off-hours surcharge, etc. The client is responsible for full payment of any additional charges beyond the original agreement. Rates are confirmed at the time of the reservation. Suggested gratuity is added to the bill for all trips. The chauffeur’s gratuity is discretionary. If you choose to provide an additional cash gratuity, it is at your sole discretion and would be in addition to the gratuity already on your bill. If you prefer to pay the gratuity in cash, you must specify that with our staff prior to travel, and it will be removed from your bill. You will not receive a full or partial refund for the gratuity by providing a cash tip to the chauffeur. By booking a reservation, you (client) authorize Affordable Luxury Car Services to bill you accordingly or charge the credit card provided for the services rendered at the rates given at the time of reservation and any changes incurred after trip completion.

Additional Charges
Extra stops, off-hours surcharge; any reservation with pickup during the hours of 12:00 AM ETA and 5:00 AM EST, crossing over from one airport to another, tolls, parking, service transportation charges, and fuel charges are subject to change at any time based on the current rate. Prom / Wedding / Wait & Return Limo Service
Prom reservations require full payment at the time of reservation. There is no refund. A contract must be completed and signed by a parent of one of the minors traveling before a reservation is final. Wedding and wait and return (hourly) service reservations require a 50% deposit at the time of reservation. The remaining balance must be paid fourteen (14) days prior to the trip date. Deposits will only be refunded if canceled thirty (30) days prior to the trip date. Hourly trips are billed for the number of hours the vehicle is ordered for, then in ½ hour increments thereafter. Affordable Luxury Car Services’ Terms and Conditions apply for all prom, wedding, wait and return (hourly) services.

Contract Obligation
The person signing this contract acknowledges he/she has read our terms and conditions listed above and is the authorized purchaser for this rental agreement, the authorized cardholder for the given credit card, and/or responsible party liable for payment of the total amount due. I understand and agree to pay for any and all damages my party may cause to Affordable Luxury Car Services. I fully understand and agree to the above terms and conditions. I understand and agree to pay the deposit and/or entire contract price based on the terms of the cancellation policy. Affordable Luxury Car Services reserves the right to charge the full contract amount 48 hours prior to the date of service. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, signing, and providing your credit card information, you are authorizing Affordable Luxury Car Services to charge your credit card for any of the following charges: deposit, all services rendered, and any damages done to the vehicle. Any overtime hours or fees as a result of damage to the vehicle will be calculated and billed within 72 hours of the completion of the service. I am satisfied with the terms and conditions above and fully understand and agree. If for any reason I am not satisfied with the services I received, I have 12 hours after the completion of the trip to notify Affordable Luxury Car Services and file a complaint in writing. If Affordable Luxury Car Services does not receive my written complaint in the above-stated time frame, I agree that there is no complaint and I am fully satisfied with the services I received and will not file any complaint against Affordable Luxury Car Services with any official bureaus or online consumer websites. The purchaser will be contacted within 12 hours of the complaint to address concerns in an effort to settle the matter.
